We are thrilled to find this blog, since WE ARE THE BATON ROUGE BRANCH of the Phillips Family!
My mother is Marshall Marie Phillips, the daughter of Marshall Mumford Phillips, son of Robinson Mumford Phillips II, who was the son of Camilla Mumford and Marshall Pope Phillips. As you probably know, Camilla was the 13th child of Amelia J. Phillips, who was the second child of John Phillips (3) born in 1787.
My brother Doug and I have been working along with other family members to trace our geneaology for many years, but we never knew about the Kiwi branch!
We have much to learn from you, and much to share as well. Let us know how to contact you so that we may add what we know to your wonderful site!
Signed,
Erin McVadon Albright and Douglas McVadon
