Lunch in Quebec with 4th cousin Richard Price (whose Great Great Grandmother was Maria Mclean Phillips who married Stachan Bethune) in a little restaurant across from the canonball tree.
John Phillips (b1710) married Anne Engs (b1715) Boston in 1734. This is the story of their ancestors and descendants. Of British heritage,their families settled in New England circa 1638 before migrating with the British Militia to Quebec, New France by 1756. Their descendants settled in North Dakota c 1880 then Minnesota and west to Vancouver and California. Wendell A.L.Phillips started a new branch of the family in New Zealand in 1919 when he met and married Constance Jessica Craig.
